Employment Security Credit Union was chartered in 1955, with 254 original members. There has been much growth and many changes through the years, but one thing has remained the same, the commitment to bring the best financial service possible to our members.

ESCU is governed by a seven-member board of directors elected from the membership. Members wanting to run for one of these positions must be in good standing with the credit union.  The directors are volunteers with no compensation and have dedication to maintaining the safety and soundness of the credit union.

     Oversees the accounting for the Employment

     Security division (e.g. budgeting, cash management

     reporting, etc.)

     27 years of membership in ESCU

Tyrone Sullivan, Vice-President

     Director of Information Technology Operations

     25 years of department service

     24 years of membership in ESCU

     3 years military service - Viet Nam veteran

     TSEA member

Doris Ashley, Secretary

     Computer Operation Supervisor

     36 years of department service

     Manager of ESCU

     30 total years of service in the financial industry

     19 years of service with ESCU

Cindy Key, Director

     Administrative Service Assistant IV

     Payroll and Insurance Manager

     18 years of membership in ESCU

     IAWP member holding position of Treasurer for the

     State and Mid-TN chapters

JR Vaughn, Director

     Retired with 30 years of service as a property

     officer in Fiscal Service

     IAWP member for 25 years with service in various

     officer positions

     30 years of membership in ESCU

     ES Assistant Director for Job Service Program Support

     31 years of department service(14 years in local office

     and 17 years in Administrative office)
